ARGH!

I've had enough!

I recently had to fill out a survey that asked me for my gender, and my options were Male, Female, Non-Binary, or Other.

What the H .. E.. Double toothpicks?!?!

And if that weren’t enough, earlier this week my husband showed me an article that says a new law will go into effect in California on January 1 requiring any large retail store with over 500 employees to have a "clearly labeled gender neutral toy section".

Wait, what? WHY?!?!

Last I knew parents were the ones buying toys for their children, and whether there was a section in the store that was labeled "gender neutral" or not - chances are they would be picking the toys they believed were best suited for their child.

So just who is the signage for - and WHO decides whether a truck or a doll is "sexed" or "neutral"?

I mean is a drum neutral, but a PINK drum only for girls?  Do distinctions like that suggest that a boy who likes pink isn't really a boy at all?

Folks - we've lost the plot here!

Genesis 27 tells us "So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them."  So unless you believe God makes mistakes, then your biological sex IS your sex.

Yes - there are effeminate males and masculine females.  And I am certain there are people who don't feel comfortable in their own skin.  But that doesn't mean God got it wrong. In fact, Ephesians 2:10 reminds us "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do."

God made each of us - AS WE ARE, for a purpose.  And a law that mandates a "gender neutral" toy section is just another way Satan is working to mainstream his lie that "we are all smarter than God" and "we should be the ones to choose”

It's the same lie he told Eve in the Garden of Eden...and just like Adam and Eve, if we choose to believe it - then we will surely reap the consequences.

Hi there - today is my 400th post and I am wrestling a bit... so I'm asking for your prayers. The Journey to the Cross (Day 4 - THE LADDER)

In the city of Jerusalem stands a church called  The Church of the Holy Sepulcher.   It has been proposed as the place of both the death and resurrection of Jesus, and it has been a place for pilgrimages since the 4th century. Considered holy, the site is cared for by no less than six denominations including Greek Orthodox, Armenian Apostolic, Roman Catholic, Coptic, Ethiopian and Syriac Orthodox.  As such, it has been carefully parsed out into sections.  And sadly, arguments and violent clashes are not uncommon. The Journey to the Cross (Day 3 - ONLY JESUS)

Today’s Holy Week post has me thinking about the 12 disciples. ONLY JESUS Can you name Jesus' 12 disciples?  If you've been watching The Chosen or reading your Bible regularly, you might be able to.  However - there are some, who - at least for me, are a bit in the shadows. Sure I know Simon/Peter, and his brother Andrew .  And then there was James and John, the sons of Thunder (or Zebedee to be exact).  There was Matthew, and Thomas, and Judas Iscariot.  And there was Simon the Zealot, and another James...but...but...a nd here is where my mind isn't as good at remembering.   So I Googled it.
