TST


I saw a news article the other day that has been hurting my heart ever since.  It talked about something called "The Satanic Temple" and their "religious abortion ritual"...

WAIT - WHAT?!?!

I honestly couldn't believe what I was reading was real - and so I googled it.  If you do, you'll see The Satanic Temple has a website and that their opening message says they encourage "benevolence and empathy, reject tyrannical authority, advocate practical common sense, oppose injustice and undertake noble pursuits."

These all sound reasonable...but then if you dig a little further and look at the website's LEARN section you will see this as one of their main tenets and beliefs:

One's body is inviolable, subject to one's own will alone.

In other words - "I want to be able to kill that thing living inside of me."

Apparently the TST has holidays they like to celebrate (the words that follow are theirs not mine):

  • Lupercalia - Celebration of bodily autonomy, sexual liberation, and reproduction. Which the organization says "translates to a 'hail yourself' day...as a parallel to the 'others-centered' traditions of Sol Invictus."
  • Hexennacht - An occasion honoring those who fell victim to superstition and pseudoscience, whether by a witch hunt, Satanic panic, or other injustices.
  • Unveiling Day - Celebration of religious plurality and shedding of archaic superstition, and honors the statue of Baphomet with children...
  • Halloween - Holiday to celebrate indulgence and embrace the darkness and its aesthetic.
  • Sol Invictus - Celebration of being unconquered by superstation and consistent in the pursuit and sharing of knowledge.
Currently, the TST has lawsuits in multiple states to fight for abortion rights, and lest you think they are small and unfunded without a chance to make a difference - know that you can visit TST temples in the following locations:  Alabama, Alaska, Albany, Alberta, Arizona, Atlanta, Atlantic Canada, Austin, Australia, Benelux, British Columbia, Colorado, Connecticut & Rhode Island, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Delaware, Detroit, Finland, Florida, Germany, Houston, Illinois, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire & Vermont, New Jersey, New Mexico, North-East Gulf Coast, Northern California,  North Carolina, NYC, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Ottawa Canada, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania, San Antonio, San Diego, Southern California, South Carolina, Tennessee, Toronto, Utah, West Virginia,  Washington, Western New York, West Michigan, Wisconsin.

Do not be deceived.  The Devil is out there - he is organized, he is brazen, and he is actively working to infiltrate our laws and influence our children...be vigilant and keep PRAYING!

Hi there - today is my 400th post and I am wrestling a bit... so I'm asking for your prayers. The Journey to the Cross (Day 4 - THE LADDER)

In the city of Jerusalem stands a church called  The Church of the Holy Sepulcher.   It has been proposed as the place of both the death and resurrection of Jesus, and it has been a place for pilgrimages since the 4th century. Considered holy, the site is cared for by no less than six denominations including Greek Orthodox, Armenian Apostolic, Roman Catholic, Coptic, Ethiopian and Syriac Orthodox.  As such, it has been carefully parsed out into sections.  And sadly, arguments and violent clashes are not uncommon. The Journey to the Cross (Day 3 - ONLY JESUS)

Today’s Holy Week post has me thinking about the 12 disciples. ONLY JESUS Can you name Jesus' 12 disciples?  If you've been watching The Chosen or reading your Bible regularly, you might be able to.  However - there are some, who - at least for me, are a bit in the shadows. Sure I know Simon/Peter, and his brother Andrew .  And then there was James and John, the sons of Thunder (or Zebedee to be exact).  There was Matthew, and Thomas, and Judas Iscariot.  And there was Simon the Zealot, and another James...but...but...a nd here is where my mind isn't as good at remembering.   So I Googled it.
